For Oyster yacht charters, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, with everything from awe-inspiring rain forests to explore and volcanoes to climb, to dive reserves and beautiful white sand beaches. You can discover three of the most famous islands in the region here: Antigua, St Martin and St Barts.
Or if you just want to see the most beautiful beach in the world, check out Half Moon Bay. Explore Nelson’s Dockyard (Oyster’s spiritual home in the Caribbean and start point of the Oyster World Rally) and discover the many bars and restaurants. No visit is complete without heading up to Shirley Heights for sundowners and an unforgettable sunset.

Whichever side of the island you choose, there are beautiful sandy beaches where you can snorkel, surf and paddleboard – there is even the odd nudist beach. Maho Bay beach is at the end of the airport runway – you can almost touch the planes as they swoop in to land. By way of contrast, take a trip up to Paradise Peak – the island’s highest point that offers spectacular views over the island and ocean. While you are there, don’t miss the Butterfly Farm.

As with every island in the Caribbean, there are miles of secluded beaches – Colombier beach is perfect for charters as it is only accessible on foot or by boat. There is a marine nature reserve, divided into five zones with varying levels of protection. As a result, there is a diverse array of aquatic wildlife to enjoy with excellent scuba and snorkelling. Look out for green sea turtles and nurse sharks, along with lobsters and conch.
As with the rest of the Caribbean, the best weather is between December and May. Temperatures above 25oC to the low 30’s with cool, constant prevailing Trade winds and calm seas.
