The much-anticipated Oyster 595 fills an important gap in the Oyster fleet. Well-proportioned and extremely versatile, she offers exciting customised build options with no compromise. She has proven herself to be extremely popular pre-launch, with 10 sold off plan. With Oyster DNA running through her from stem to stern, she is capable of great things. Designed to be sailed effortlessly by two people, she has an impressive internal volume to easily accommodate family and friends for lazy cruising days in the sun. There is plenty of space to socialise in the cockpit, on the flush aft and foredecks, as well as an optional swim deck where everyone can join in the fun. With luxurious and comfortable interiors and the latest sailing technology, she is the ideal live-aboard yacht to take you around the globe with ease.
The Oyster 595 is one of the few true ocean cruisers for sale with many design features distilled from our larger yachts. The perfect all-rounder, she is designed for safe yet fast, exhilarating cruising. Built with state-of-the-art materials and techniques, the integrity of the hull is certified by Lloyd’s Register. Easy to handle and extremely manoeuvrable, bow and stern thrusters make her simple to berth in tight spots. Designed for adventure, with a variety of keel and transom options, her protected helm position, concealed lines and clutter-free decks make her safe and a pleasure to sail. Fully automated with in-mast furling as standard, she offers responsive finger-tip control on the helm, courtesy of the twin rudder design. The increased hull volume with a wide beam aft can handle plenty of sail power for faster passage-making speeds.
Building on the ideas that make our larger yachts so special, the Oyster 595 is a jewel amongst bluewater cruising yachts. The contemporary interior is luxurious to a fault, with comforts and mod cons you would expect at home, making living aboard for extended periods possible and truly pleasurable. Every detail has been considered, from seating that doubles as a daybed to full-size fridges and stepless walk-in showers. A perfectly proportioned bluewater cruiser, her volume makes the layout options extremely versatile. There are three standard layouts to choose from but she will accommodate customisation with ease. The magic results from the combination of tried and trusted materials worked to perfection with the time-honoured skills of our craftspeople. Tradition is tempered with the latest touchscreen technology, navigation and entertainment solutions to keep you connected anywhere in the world.
Technology and tradition come together in complete harmony on the 595, making her well-connected with the latest navigation and entertainment systems, and stylish mood lighting, controlled by the touch of a button. Choose your favourite AV solutions and WiFi comms technology to keep you connected in the world’s remotest corners. All technology and systems are specified for robustness and reliability and nothing is installed that has not been proven at sea. Connection comes in analogue form too, with a dedicated chart table and a galley hatch that opens to the helm position, vital for those sustaining midnight watch hot drinks.
Working with you, we help you specify audio-visual equipment to suits your needs. Seamlessly integrated into the yacht, your favourite sounds or movies are always on hand. WiFi is available throughout, connecting you to the world through the latest satellite technology. When you are close to shore the 4/5G cellular antenna can pick up signal from radio masts on land.
The new digital switching platform controls and monitors power distribution and all non-critical systems in once place. This runs on a digital network with multiple touchscreens, or on your tablet, so it can be accessed from anywhere on the boat. It offers complete override of all the systems it controls and, as you would expect from Oyster, a good level of redundancy is built into the system.
A detailed lighting analysis during the design development stage of the 595 helped us plan for optimal lighting throughout the boat. This refined approach offers a choice of mood lighting modes (incorporated into the digital switching system) which make the interiors more comfortable and enhances the look and feel of the spaces below decks.
With the DNA of Oyster coursing through every inch of the new 595, she captures not only the spirit of our yachts but the experience gained over 48 years. Inspired by owners and refined by our design, engineering and build teams, she is the real deal – all the trappings of superyacht style in a versatile 60 foot package.
The broader beam aft and extra length offer welcome volume and versatile configuration options. Choose an aft ensuite master cabin with three guest cabins, one amidships and two guest cabins forward, creating privacy for friends or crew. The forward ensuite master option allows for one large or two doubles aft. All this space creates opportunities to customise – for example there is space for a desk or extra seating in the owner’s cabin.
The Oyster 595 is the culmination of 48 years of building bluewater cruising yachts. Based on real sailors’ experience, everything is designed for ease, from all-around access to the engine room to the carefully labelled service pipes and wiring for easy maintenance. Every practicality is considered – reach out and your hand will fall on an intuitively-placed grab handle. Doors open in the direction you expect and fasten with solid catches – even the floors have rubber seals to prevent squeaking.
The 595 establishes the next generation of ocean cruisers for sale; she offers a confluence of advanced materials, production techniques and engineering technology. Reassurance is built into the hull design, which emphasises global strength, stiffness and longitudinal structural continuity, a requirement for the stringent Lloyd’s Register certification.

No two Oysters are the same. Like all our yachts, the Oyster 595 is designed and handcrafted using time-honoured skills, insights and learnings gained over 48 years from a loyal group of visionaries including owners, staff, sales team and project managers. There is pride and passion in every build and the only acceptable standard is perfection. As a British boatbuilder, our heritage spans over 48 years in shipyards that have been in operation for over 100 years. Built with a meticulous attention to detail, every aspect of our yacht build undergoes exacting scrutiny. Every Oyster is specified well-beyond normal requirements so the single skin hulls are extremely robust, giving you peace of mind in any conditions – from extreme cold to tropical heat or heavy weather. To ensure strength and integrity, Lloyd’s Register certifies our hulls and decks which they inspect on a weekly basis throughout the build. The combined skills of all experts involved contributes to your Oyster’s exceptional quality and finish. So when you take ownership of your Oyster 595, you know she has been built to last a lifetime.
The journey to become an Oyster owner begins in many different ways. For some it starts as a childhood dream, for others, it’s the culmination of years of research that leads them to conclude there is no other choice but an Oyster. But for all those investing in a new Oyster 595 the delights of ownership start the minute you begin her build. A key part of owning your Oyster bluewater cruiser is getting under the skin of the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into her, and the insights you pick up through the build and handover process. We believe being part of this adds to the deep sense of ownership you will feel when you first step aboard. To ensure this experience is something you will savour and cherish, we assign one of experienced project managers to guide you through.
Our Project Managers are all experienced sailors who will help you turn your hopes, plans and dreams of adventure into reality, from the initial moulding of the hull to handover. Their practical experience has been gained from hundreds of thousands of miles sailed, previous builds and knowing Oyster inside out. They will be there throughout the build of your Oyster 595, offering advice on all aspects of the process to make sure she is beyond expectation when you set sail.
You and your plans are key, so your PM will learn what you want to do with your yacht, where you would like to sail her and what is most important to you in terms of finish and equipment. They will then combine all requirements and guide you through selecting appropriate options and equipment that are right for you.
A highlight for owners is the regular yard visits (in person or online) so you can see your 595 at key points during the build. Ownership is made richer by understanding the craftsmanship and attention to detail in each yacht. These visits are a great opportunity to see our master craftspeople bring their skills to bear on your boat. We will keep you up-to-date throughout so you have all the information you need to make the right decisions at the right time.
Your 595 is handed to our commissioning team on completion. Commissioning takes six to eight weeks to meet our exacting standards and ensure she is perfect. A week-long handover follows, during which you will be introduced to your yacht and literally shown the ropes. Our team will advise on how to use each piece of equipment and technology, ensuring you will set off on your first Oyster adventure in complete confidence.
