With an enormous sail area, Umoya delivers impeccable, yet effortless sailing performance. Sporting the new carbon hardtop solar bimini, she seamlessly blends iconic styling with practicality and a transformed cockpit space that is perfect for entertaining and dining alfresco.

This remarkable expression of Oyster luxury offers four beautifully appointed, spacious ensuite cabins to sleep eight guests as well as dedicated crew quarters. Below deck, this 90 foot bluewater sailing yacht has been highly customised and features a unique marine life-inspired décor. Ocean blue accents continue throughout the interior living spaces and complement crown cut oak joinery.

The light and airy upper saloon of this iconic 90 foot sailboat effortlessly blends relaxation, entertainment and luxury with a smart TV, an integrated custom-made, marine life-themed Backgammon set, and plush lounge and dining space.

With three comfortable ensuite cabins, Umoya maximises accommodation options with a perfect set-up for families and friends. The interior is comfortable and luxurious. Aft of the saloon is an impressively spacious master cabin, which sets the standard for the two ensuite double guest cabins with one being convertible to two singles. All cabins boast excellent standing height, ensuites with walk-in showers and Oyster's proprietary touchscreen mood lighting.

Magnus

Captain Magnus hails from the frigid fjords of Norway, where sailing runs deep in his family. He spent his childhood regatta racing, teaching sailing, and serving in the Norwegian Navy before eventually being drawn toward warmer waters and a life at sea.

Now thoroughly thawed, Magnus has spent nearly 15 years in the charter industry, cruising his own sailboat, completing multiple ocean crossings, and sharing some of the world’s most spectacular destinations with guests.

A qualified captain with a passion for adventure, Magnus takes pride in creating thoughtful itineraries that balance relaxation, exploration, and a little excitement. His goal is simple: to make every charter feel effortless, memorable, and uniquely yours.

First Mate

Brage

First Mate Brage is a Norwegian sailor with a lifelong preference for the road, or ocean, less travelled. His adventures have taken him across Africa by motorcycle, through several years of living and working in Greenland, and eventually onto the water.

He sailed his own boat from Norway to the Caribbean, much of the journey single-handed, before beginning his professional career in the Caribbean as a qualified captain.

Naturally curious and always looking for the next adventure, Brage brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for life at sea to every voyage. He enjoys discovering new places just as much as sharing them, and takes great pleasure in making sure guests experience the destination beyond the usual itinerary.

Jayde

Chef Jayde grew up in sunny South Africa, surrounded by a vibrant coastal culture renowned for its sailing, food, and wine. It was here that her passion for hospitality first began.

After graduating from university with an Honours degree in Software Development, Jayde took a very different cours; pursuing an offshore sailing license and a career at sea.

Over the past 13 years, she has worked aboard cruise ships, catamarans, motor yachts, and sailing yachts, gaining experience across the galley, interior, and deck departments. A qualified captain herself, Jayde brings a broad understanding of life on board to her role in the galley, where she combines her love of hospital…

Kirsten

Kirsten is a South African who grew up surrounded by the wild oceans and ever-changing climate of the coast. Her fascination with the underwater world began with her very first ocean dive and has continued to shape both her career and her adventures ever since.

She studied Industrial Design at the University of Johannesburg, where she developed a deeper appreciation for marine ecosystems and a passion for creating projects that support ocean conservation. As her interest in photography increasingly turned toward the underwater world, Kirsten followed her passion into a non-traditional career in diving and sailing.
