RALLY SUPPORT

Expert support and truly personalised service

With four successful world rallies behind us, our team are experts in managing circumnavigation events on this scale. They have worked together before, during and after each Rally to hone every aspect of our training, logistics, concierge service and technical support to make it an engaging and seamless experience from the moment you sign up.

Wherever you are in the world, our team will be there to support you – before you depart from each destination, during ocean passages and on arrival at the next destination. They ensure you have all the information required, including weather planning, destination information, and updates to safety and security en route.

This allows you, friends and family to immerse fully in this unique experience - it is what sets Oyster apart.

To ensure you are fully prepared for your voyage of a lifetime, we run an 18-month training and events programme before you set sail. We focus on a wide range of skills and information that will enhance your abilities, confidence and enjoyment of your circumnavigation.

Every owner receives a copy of the Oyster World Rally Guide, a comprehensive digest of all we have learned from four Rallies. At over 600 pages it is an indispensable everyday guide to the voyage.

Rally training covers everything from yacht preparation to ocean navigation and weather, onboard systems, downwind sailing techniques, safety and sea survival training and medical training, through to SSB/Long Range Radio Operators Course and yacht provisioning.

At least one member of each yacht must complete their RYA Yachtmaster offshore practical with exam (or agreed equivalent), RYA Ocean Yachtmaster theory is recommended but not compulsory, MCA Medical First Aid at Sea (4-day course) and SSB/Long range radio operators course/licence only compulsory if SSB Equipment installed on a yacht. All persons taking part must complete a Sea Survival Course within 12 months of the start. We encourage everyone to join us for our pre-Rally seminars and courses to make sure each yacht is fully prepared.

Logistics team

Our highly experienced logistics and administration team are all seasoned sailors, always there to ensure the Rally runs seamlessly. From arranging berthing, immigration and customs documentation, dealing with clearance formalities and local agents, through to training and support on the voyage, they are on hand to support you.

Concierge team

A travel partner that takes Oyster’s circumnavigation to the next level. Whatever appeals to you, our team of experts create unique luxury travel itineraries featuring breathtaking activities and adventures, and indulgent luxury escapes on and off the Rally route. Our concierge service can take care of every detail from local transport and dining reservations, to travel logistics for family and friends joining you on the Rally. Technical team

Our Technical Support team work directly with Oyster’s build teams and Project Managers, so they have an unrivalled knowledge of our yacht's engineering, electrical and mechanical systems. They are on hand at each destination to support.

After Sales team

Our legendary After Sales team work seamlessly with our logistics team to assist with delivery of spares and parts to keep you on the move. No other yacht builder offers this level of reassurance.

Oyster services

In addition to our Rally team, owners have access to a wide range of Oyster services including Oyster Crew, Servicing, Refit and Brokerage, should you choose to sell your yacht once your circumnavigation is complete.

Rally Partners

Our Rally partners work alongside our Rally and Aftersales teams to deliver spare parts for the duration of the Rally.
