Peter Degnon has been sailing since a child with his father, completing multiple South Pacific and Atlantic crossings in various size sailboats over the last 50 years. He has worked on boats his entire life and held positions on vessels ranging in size from 50 feet to over 100 feet, as Captain and Engineer. He has received training and certification in USCG Master 100 ton Near Coast, Sail and Towing Endorsements, STCW training and certification, and PADI Open Water Diver certification. Peter is not only an extremely competent sailor, but also a natural and patient teacher. He will provide an outstanding experience to all guests who wish to sit back and relax or who have an interest in learning more about sailing.
