Claire's passion for sailing ignited unexpectedly in the Whitsundays, Australia, where she began her career on 70ft ex-racing yachts.
Starting as a chef/stewardess and advancing to deck roles, she gained experience both inside and outside the vessel, ultimately thriving as a skipper. Her true calling emerged in driving boats, sailing, and leading teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences. After gaining her RYA cruising instructor qualification, Claire spent time sail training people to sail around the world with Clipper Round the World. From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, Claire has worked onboard vessels of various sizes, from 70-meter motor yachts to a 55m ketch. Now, she's thrilled to share her expertise on Mellivora, promising unforgettable trips.
