POWER GENERATION

A blended solution

Solar power

Optional hard or soft biminis can be specified with solar panels, each individually wired to capture the sun’s energy efficiently. This design ensures the system maximises daily charging capacity of the lithium-ion battery banks, even when panels are in the shade.

Hydro power

A hydro generator harvests power on the move, driving it to lithium-ion batteries to maximise daily charging capacity.

Lithium-ion batteries

The latest high-capacity, lithium-ion batteries store energy generated by day, enabling powering of systems at night. This provides silent running with reduced use of the generator and longer intervals between services.

Engine performance

The 247hp Cummings Turbo-charged QSB6.7-250, new generation diesel engine, is both quiet and powerful. With an 2,000 litre fuel tank, the engine offers excellent range and economy.

Every requirement has been considered and every piece of equipment is intentionally over-specified – from sailing equipment to carpentry details and hand holds. Automated sailing systems feature failsafe back-ups, ensuring you are never compromised or at risk. The iconic Oyster deck saloon is light, spacious and features excellent natural ventilation through the trademark forward opening saloon windows. This beautifully appointed social space, with deep, comfortable sofas, is perfect for relaxing. On deck, the spacious, flush decks are clutter-free for safe access when sailing in heavy weather.

Every inch of the large volume hull has been meticulously designed for living comfort, sailing capability and practical, easy access to engineering. Extensive storage allows for ample provisioning and a wide range of spares in preparation for any eventuality.
