OVERVIEW
In production for a decade between 1992 and 2002, in which time thirty-six Oyster 485s were delivered, she is a typical Holman and Pye design with low freeboard, a gentle sheerline, and balanced ends. She is a popular bluewater cruiser for those seeking a yacht under 50 feet.
Her extra length over the 45/47 allows for a separate shower in the owner’s head, and a dedicated generator space, just aft of the engine. Featuring a deck saloon with eyebrow styling, and the now classic three cabin layout, and a centre cockpit, the 485 is a sleek and comfortable world cruising yacht, that is easily handled by a couple.
