Launched in 1995, the 61 was in production for five years, in which time fourteen were launched. A typical Holman and Pye design with graceful sheerline, elegant overhangs and low freeboard, the 61 is a very pretty yacht.
She was designed to be a realistic proposition for operation by a private owner and family crew, using powered winches and hydraulic sail handling, but she is also large enough to carry two crew for owners who prefer that option. The standard layout provides spacious accommodation for eight in four cabins.
Under sail, she is a fast, well-balanced and powerful performer, and like all Oysters, solidly built and beautifully finished.
Sunny Sides, 61-02 is a fantastic example, to find out more information please contact us now.
