JP
JP grew up on the small island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. This resulted in him learning to sail at an early age which sparked a love to the ocean.
At 14 his first job was as a sailing instructor, and he also enjoyed racing on both optimists and lasers before moving on to larger yachts. Once completing his Yachtmaster Offshore he decided to pursue a career in yachting.
During his career JP has worked on a mixture of charter and private yachts which have worked on both side of the pond and has completed 7 Trans-Atlantic crossings. Now having worked his way up through the ranks on some of the most prestigious sailing and racing yachts is the world, he is proud to be running the beautiful Oyster Koluka.
In between yacht work JP has taken on the momentous task of circumnavigating on a boat he owns with Charlotte. After completing 2 Atlantic Crossings, this year he navigated the Pacific Ocean and made landfall in French Polynesia where, in his spare time, he free-dives, spearfishes and surfs.
