Exciting announcements at the London Private View

London Private View Oyster Yachts

After a successful London Private View at St Katharine Docks, where hundreds of clients and guests enjoyed a showcase of the Oyster 565, 595, 675 and 885 Series II, we are delighted to announce a host of new initiatives that enhance the ownership experience and build on our already successful Oyster World Rally format.

Alongside the show, we hosted a series of expert-led masterclasses, which offered insights into a range of bluewater sailing topics including ocean weather, sailing in high latitudes, downwind sail configurations and accessing remote, global adventure on board an Oyster.

After the hottest May day that London has ever seen, the evening of Thursday 1 May welcomed guests to a special launch party, which saw the public announcement of the Oyster 805, Oyster’s new 80-foot superyacht inspired model, which is expected to launch in 2027. Our latest innovation, designed in partnership with Humphreys Yacht Design, combines classic Oyster styling with innovative new features and configuration options that mark a bold new era of luxury, versatility and adventure.

In addition to the 805 reveal, CEO Ashley Highfield introduced a range of latest developments aimed at enhancing the ownership experience:

  • The Explorers Club. Building on the success of the Oyster World Rally, Oyster is making global cruising accessible with fully supported, curated voyages to remote and extraordinary destinations.
  • The Bluewater Academy. Helping new owners turn their sailing dreams into extraordinary reality, Oyster is now offering bespoke sailing training tailored to individual skill level and delivered by expert instructors on board the world’s finest bluewater cruisers.
  • The Oyster 595 Series II. An updated and refreshed look at Oyster’s best-selling model, the SII version of their 60-foot yacht will include evolved styling with larger hull ports and expanded seascape windows, remastered features below deck and upgraded connected technologies throughout.

Ashley Highfield, CEO of Oyster Yachts, said:

“The launch of our Explorers Club, Bluewater Academy, and the Oyster 805 will open a world of adventure to new and existing owners, offering unparalleled opportunities to explore the most remote and extraordinary destinations across the globe. These initiatives are designed to empower our owners to embark on unforgettable journeys—whether they are seasoned sailors or new to the world of bluewater cruising.”
