The interior of the Oyster 495 is intelligently planned, displaying all the attention to detail you would expect from Oyster. Every inch of useable space has been considered and cleverly utilised.
Our process is built on making the most of the volume of the hull form and creating inspiring destination interiors that feel like a home from home. This requires a fine balance between practicality, comfort and luxury. Creating a feeling of light and space is paramount and our designers choose materials and styling to do this seamlessly.
The new Oyster 495 features four interior themes, guided by wood choices, which in turn inform the choice of materials, fabrics and finishes. These are extremely robust to stand the test of time. The aim is to create interiors that are visually interesting, characterful and full of texture. Each theme allows owners to bring their personal taste and colour choices to their yacht.
LUXURY INTERIORS
The Oyster 495 features the latest technology you would expect aboard a luxury liveaboard sailing yacht.
Stepping down into the luxurious saloon of the new Oyster 495 feels like home. Tasteful textile and wood choices, with recessed, adjustable mood lighting, add to the sense of calm and comfort.
Thanks to the generous headroom and wraparound coach roof windows, that extend the length of the u-shaped galley and along the starboard passage past the navigation station and galley, the saloon feels light and spacious. It also enjoys excellent, natural ventilation from the forward opening saloon windows. This social space brings everyone together, connecting the navigation station to the galley, through to the open plan saloon itself. Access from the cockpit adds to the sense of flow and conviviality.
The saloon of this 50 foot yacht is fitted with deep, comfortable sofas and a multi-function table that can seat up to eight. When not in use for entertaining, the table lowers to create a relaxing day bed. As well as being the heart of the boat, the saloon is also practical, featuring handholds and storage – lift the floorboards and you have easy access to all the boat’s utilities.
The Oyster 495 is the ideal liveaboard bluewater cruiser for extended periods at sea.
