THE ROLE

We have Marine Engineer jobs available at our sites in Southampton and Wroxham, Norfolk. We are looking for experienced industry professionals who will help us to meet the growing demand for our range of luxury yachts.

REQUIREMENTS

Our yachts are built to take on adventures anywhere in the world, from costal cruising to circumnavigating the world. So we’re looking for people to accept Marine Engineer jobs who show excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills and enjoy working as part of a multi-skilled team. You will be responsible for meeting the exacting deadlines required to complete each boat on time for delivery to its new owners. Your work will be varied, including everything from fitting various components across a wide range of systems in our world-class yachts, from hydraulics to air conditioning, from engine systems to generators, fuel, heating, waste and water cooling water systems. We have Marine Engineer jobs for people who have at least two years’ relevant experience and are comfortable with innovation and new challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • High standard of metal fabrication skills and knowledge of hydraulics
  • High standard of plumbing and gas knowledge
  • Ability to operate machinery and hand tools correctly and safely
  • Good understanding of marine technologies
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also plan work with other trades
  • Practical problem-solving abilities with a high standard of finish
