We are hiring a number of Marine Electricians across Southampton and Wroxham, Norfolk, to help us meet the growing demand for our range of luxury yachts. We have Marine Electrician jobs suitable for a range of people, from two to three years’ experience to the most highly experienced marine industry professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

Our yachts are built to circumnavigate the world, so we want electricians who set themselves the highest standards. We are looking for people who are highly organised, enjoy taking responsibility, making a difference, and tackling new challenges. Marine experience is essential but above all we want attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work well as part of a passionate multi-skilled team. Knowledge of AC/DC systems and a relevant electrical qualification are also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for installing and testing all electrics, electronics and navigation equipment on yachts to an exceptional standard. The role includes:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Installing electrical equipment on luxury yachts
  • Coordinating your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building
  • Carrying out general maintenance on equipment, including PAT testing
