Dan joined Oyster’s Newport office in 2011 following a career with a leading international brokerage. Prior to coming ashore he held various positions aboard, starting in 2003 and culminating with his captaincy of S/Y Argo, a 110’ Langan Design Schooner. While at sea, Dan completed crossings of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, and accumulated over 50,000 miles of blue-water cruising experience, including extensive landfalls and oversight of several major refits. Dan is married with a young son and resides in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
