Award-winning and forward-looking design from Humphreys and Oyster make for a spirited performance cruiser capable of winning races and stomping around the globe.
With the 655, performance was an established criterion from the outset. Designer, Rob Humphreys, created a set of hull lines with a relatively fine entry forward and a clean run aft. Add a low center of gravity keel, a modern high-aspect rudder, and a powerful sail plan, and the result is a fast yacht that is a pleasure to sail.
The twin helm configuration puts the helmsman in exactly the right place and means that the spacious forward cockpit is safe and uncluttered. It is also much easier to get on and off the working deck since there is virtually flat deck access from the stern into the cockpit.
The saloon makes best use of the yacht’s 18’5” beam and, with the U-shaped galley to port, creates a spacious and contemporary open-plan living environment, with plenty of counter surfaces and stowage space. The 655 has a spacious owner’s suite aft, with its own private access to deck, and three guest cabins.
The 655 has an easily driven, powerful hull, and her in-mast, cutter rig setup allows for a generous sail area with a safe and manageable sail plan for cruising around the world or short-handed day sailing around your favorite bays.
TURTLE IV features spacious interior volume with accommodation for eight guests in four cabins, with ample storage on deck and below, and well-thought-out and easily accessible engineering spaces. TURTLE IV was constructed to a high specification and features all the creature comforts befitting a yacht of this pedigree.
Early viewing recommended.
