CHIØNE is one of the very latest designs from the drawing board of Rob Humphreys and the Oyster Design Team. Incredibly well-balanced with twin rudders and an easily driven hull form, strikingly elegant with her ‘Flag Blue’ Hull.
The 675 is the centrepiece of the current Oyster New Build Fleet, the perfect combination of size and practicality in a 70 foot yacht. She can be sailed with ease by two people, with room for crew and up to six friends and family or with an experienced owner, eight friends and family. Her powerful hull is beautifully proportioned, offering huge volume to make her extremely versatile.
The sense of space and light below deck is enhanced by triple seascape windows in the aft cabin and saloon, Oyster DNA runs through every inch of CHIØNE, and she performs in all aspects of sailing be it with the Oyster World Rally or cruising local calas.
Her specification is born from an experienced Oyster owner and build team. Sailing and ease of use with maximum comfort… the latest furling technology from Elvstrøm Sails powers CHIØNE upwind. Her downwind inventory covers Mediterranean sailing with the superbly fast, hydraulicaly driven, Code 0.
World cruising/ocean passages are covered with the Blue Water Runner, a double headsail from Elvstrøm which makes downwind sailing safe and fast. A beautiful vertical grain, quarter-sawn teak, with a satin varnish finish interior offers a rich, traditional feel below decks. An elegant home from home. Two double cabins forward, and a bunk room and owner's cabin aft offers great accommodation versatility. CHIØNE is unique with her saloon space divided between dining to port and a coffee / games table area to starboard.
CHIØNE was born out of her owner’s experience and lessons in building and sailing an Oyster 575 by the same name. The family are now looking to step up once more in the Oyster fleet.
CHIØNE has cruised the Mediterranean and crossed the Atlantic (one way) since launch. She is permanently berthed in Palma. Proven over a few seasons of private sailing, CHIØNE represents a very rare opportunity to own a new model Oyster without the lead time.
