Warsash Maritime School and its Warsash Superyacht Academy are world leaders in training seafarers of all levels, with over 150 accredited entry, managerial and advanced maritime courses, from one-day STCW updating training to 3-year cadetships and top-up opportunities for senior officers. They have 100+ highly experienced maritime lecturers and technician instructors delivering outstanding, hands-on professional development.
The School's facilities include Europe’s largest maritime simulation centre (featuring Wärtsilä technology), new marine engineering workshops, an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) lab, and its acclaimed manned model ship handling centre at nearby Timsbury Lake.
Oyster have partnered with Warsash Maritime School to run bespoke training courses for Oyster World Rally participants, including two mandatory courses - the RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Theory and LRC/SSB GMDSS Radio.
