Not only is he an expert meteorologist with over 20 years of racing and cruising experience, but he has also completed many circumnavigations. With almost 250,000 miles under his belt, a master’s degree in Meteorology and training at the Met Office, he is in a unique position to advise and forecast for all sailing requirements.
Chris has worked with Oyster since the inaugural Oyster World Rally in 2013 and provides in-depth routing for the fleet at specific points along the route. He ran a masterclass tailored to the Oyster World Rally 2022-23, giving skippers and crews incredibly useful insights into forecasting and what to expect on their voyage.
