Ocean Conservation since 1969
For more than 50 years, the Oceanic Society has worked to connect people to the ocean and build a movement dedicated to solving the key ocean problems of our time—plastic pollution, unsustainable fishing and aquaculture, and climate change. Their goal is to improve ocean health by addressing the root cause of its decline: human behaviour.
Oyster 655-02 Irene IV, is an Ambassador Vessel and will be supporting the Oceanic Society as they circumnavigate with the Oyster World Rally. Tasks include, carrying out a beach clean-up once a month and working with local conservation partners.
