OVERVIEW
An IOR One Tonner designed by Stephen Jones, the Oyster SJ41 is a fast racer/cruiser. Twenty-three were built between 1980 and 1987. Racing successes included five firsts in Cowes Week, RORC Yacht of the Year 1985, Alan Paul Trophy for consistent performance and a class win in the 1985 Fastnet Race. Some were masthead rigged and some ¾ rigged and most are now sailed as fast and attractive cruising yachts.
