OVERVIEW
Developed from the HP46 and the 435, the 406 replaced the Oyster 39. Available in both deck salon and coachroof versions, the 406 thus became the smallest deck saloon design that Oyster ever produced. Designed by Holman and Pye, thirty-five of these liveaboard, centre cockpit, bluewater cruising boats were built between 1986 and 1990, and most have thousands of sea miles under their keels. Her practical two cabin, two head layout is as comfortable as it is seamanlike.
