The Oyster 495 World Premiere.
OVERVIEW
The latest collaboration between Humphreys Yacht Design and Oyster’s own in-house design studio, the new Oyster 495 has clean hull lines and carries her beam well aft, which contributes to form stability and sailing performance. This 50 foot sailboat features the same twin rudder configurations found on our larger yachts. As a result, she is light and easy on the steering, offering fingertip control in even the most boisterous conditions. Add a range of technology to make shorthanded sailing even easier, including in-mast furling and push-button B&G sail handling controls operated from the helm positions, she will be a joy to sail. All these elements combine to make her responsive and fast-moving, with an ability to offer consistently high speeds for excellent passage-making.
Intelligent interior space planning and design applies our latest insights and the acclaimed craftsmanship from our larger yachts to make use of every inch of hull volume. The tasteful choice of materials, fabrics and integrated technology combined with modern styling and equipment will create truly luxurious entertaining and living spaces. Our new mood lighting system will be supplemented by natural light flooding through the signature Oyster Saloon windows. Whichever way you look at it, the interior of the new Oyster 495 promises to set a new standard for her class.
The wider beam offers excellent returns in space above and below decks, unexpected on any other 50 foot yacht on the market. The Oyster 495's owners’ cabin is truly impressive, with signature triple Oyster Seascape windows that create an amazing feeling of light and space. Like all Oysters, she features a beautifully styled centre cockpit and deck saloon, with a flush foredeck. It also offers outstanding light and ventilation to the centre of the boat, making the saloon feel bright and spacious. The deck saloon windows have been extended aft to flood more light into the navigation and galley areas. On deck, the transom houses a powered boarding/bathing platform, which is pushbutton-operated from the deck. The flat deck at the stern and flush foredeck offer plenty of space for relaxing and sunbathing.
