With a mix of casual cruising, water sports, superb local cuisine and fantastic live music, the event was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to catch up after the pandemic.
To start the weekend, the Oyster family gathered in Palma at the Real Club Nautico de Palma for a delicious meal overlooking the Oyster fleet berthed alongside the clubhouse.
Saturday dawned with glorious sunshine and a light breeze for a gentle cruise west along the south coast. The fleet anchored in the bay of Camp de Mar, for lunch onboard, followed by a fun-packed afternoon of water activities, including Tiwal dingy racing, paddle boarding and a very amusing inflatable race!
After the excitement of the watersports, everyone headed ashore to enjoy cocktails and a delicious meal at Maria 5 Beach Club as the sunset over the bay. Guests were treated to an amazing evening of entertainment, with a local jazz trio and a special performance by Oyster owner Eddie Jordan’s band, Eddie and the Robbers.
The fleet enjoyed a slow Sunday at anchor, relaxing in the Mallorcan sun and catching up with old friends and new, before heading home in their own time.
