THE ROLE

 

We are hiring a number of Bench Joiners in Southampton and Wroxham to help us meet the growing demand for our range of luxury yachts. Vacancies range from junior level to highly experienced professionals.

Sailing Jobs Oyster Careers Trade 2

REQUIREMENTS

Our yachts are built to circumnavigate the world, so we are looking for joiners with a keen eye for precision and quality, and who enjoy working as part of a multi-skilled team to solve problems and meet deadlines. You will have at least two years’ experience, ideally in the marine industry, but you could also be working in related areas that require the same high levels of craftsmanship and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be making and fitting a wide variety of boat furniture across our luxury yacht range. Responsibilities include:

  • Reading and interpreting CAD drawings
  • Making internal and external yacht furniture
  • Making cabin doors and sole bearers
  • Occasional painting
  • Assisting colleagues within the department and throughout the Oyster Group where necessary
