Initially bought to embark on the once in a lifetime three year adventure from the UK, where she was built, around the world to Australia, the homeport of the previous owners, Margot is a proven performer that is now in her second ownership. Lightly used due family commitments, yet beautifully maintained she has been recently refitted and is ready for her next adventure.
With the focus on comfortable and effortless passage-making, enhanced with additional round-the-world extras, Margot is a fantastic all-rounder that can be easily sailed by two. Hydraulic in-mast furling mainsail and headsails, adaptable and easy to manage in all situations, can all be simply controlled from the comfort of the cockpit. Whilst the preventer and spinnaker package setup, means that running downwind, even with the cruising chute, conveniently mounted on a Karver furler with carbon prodder, can be deployed with a 'no hassle' approach.
Below deck, Margot is beautifully presented in contemporary American white oak, with traditional teak and holly soles, warming palette tones, customised accent lighting, and bespoke finishes throughout. Spaciously appointed with eight berths in four cabins, two heads, a well-equipped galley and vast saloon, Margot is perfectly equipped to host family, friends and even crew with ease.
Upgraded in 2022 with a new 3.8m Brig tender and outboard, BBQ setup, entertainment and comms system, out of the water works, and upgraded canvaswork, including a full set of cockpit, pushpit and foredeck cushions, to name a few, Margot has been consistently invested in recently and it shows.
Based in Australia within reach of exceptional cruising grounds with exquisite hidden coves, she should not be underestimated or overlooked. Early viewing recommended.
