With Oyster’s trademark combination of sophisticated luxury, comfort and performance, Midnight is also designed for effortless and exhilarating sailing if you decide to take the helm. Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy bluewater cruising at its finest.

Her standout feature is her extended counter stern, which takes her deck length to 86 feet – this offers a much larger aft deck area for sunbathing, with a large fold-down stern bathing platform that is the perfect spot for sundowners. The split cockpit completes the superyacht yacht feel, with a generous protected guest cockpit with large, fitted tables for some serious ‘al fresco dining.

Make yourself comfortable

Below deck, the stunning interior is meticulously finished in beautiful cherry wood teamed with sumptuous leather upholstery, offering a contemporary feel that is both luxurious and cocooning. There is a choice of raised and lower saloons, both of which offer exceptionally inviting alternatives to the protected cockpit and open aft deck.

The upper saloon offers direct line of sight outboard, with panoramic views and direct access to the cockpit. All the beautifully appointed guest accommodation is located aft of the main saloon, providing you and your guests with privacy from the galley and the en suite crew accommodation, both of which are tucked well away forward of the saloon.

You can host six guests with ease in three cabins, all with highly-specified en suite bathrooms. The main cabin has a centreline queen size bed for a great night’s sleep while you are on the water. The starboard guest cabin has a double bed and in the port cabin, there are two side-by-side twin beds. Both cabins have their own en suite heads with showers.

Meet the crew

Harry Merchant Midnight Captain
Captain
Harry Marchant

Harry grew up in the countryside of West Sussex where he learnt to sail dinghies as a teenager. After leaving school he made his way into the yachting industry sailing over 50,000nm including 1 1/2 laps of the world on the last two Oyster World Rally’s.

Harry has worked his way up through the Oyster fleet sailing in a variety of different roles which gave him the ability to take on his first Captain job on an Oyster 575 at the age of 22. Harry and Issy have worked together for the last 3 years onboard two different oysters, crossing the Pacific together in 2022. He is really looking forward to having guests onboard and sharing his love of sailing on an Oyster with them.

Issy Monro

Issy has been sailing her whole life. Growing up she learnt to sail with her family on various different boats around the Solent. Since leaving school she has taken to the yachting industry, sailing over 20,000nm including the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. She has been on various different Oysters working her way up through the fleet.

Issy has also worked in hospitality delivering a high level of service to all her guests. Issy began her cooking career during the Oyster World Rally where she was mate/chef for 2 years working alongside Harry. She has grown up cooking and spent many years perfecting her culinary experience. She specialises in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create healthy and delicious meals. She is looking forward to creating a special experience for all her guests onboard.

Elsa Swetenham

Elsa comes from a strong sailing background with experience racing and cruising in the UK, Caribbean and Mediterranean on a variety of different sailing yachts.

She initially studied Natural Sciences in University before setting out to sea. She was a watch leader on 2 Atlantic crossings, one each way, and skippered multiple crossings of the English Channel on a family sailing boat with a variety of crew. She is an RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor, so has extremely strong interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues. She also has extensive experience in hospitality working both front of house and as a chef and is the perfect all-rounder on board. El…
