If so, we have a great opportunity for an experienced, detail orientated and creative individual to work as a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team in Southampton.

The Contract:

Permanent

Full time – 40 hours per week

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Marketing team. Instrumental in supporting day to day activity to engage the sailing community with the Oyster’s brand and finest quality sailing yachts to attract new customers and engage the existing family to generate interest and sales leads. This role reports to the Marketing Services Manager and will be accountable for supporting with the development of marketing materials, coordination of activity and communications, support with the creation of content, daily administrative tasks and the optimisation of multi-channel marketing communications

Main Responsibilities:

Management and co-ordination

  • Organise production of video and photoshoots
  • Coordinate the production of sales literature including distribution and digital storage
  • Manage end to end marketing suite experience (Southampton)
    Press, media kits and ad hoc requests;
  • Management of email marketing campaigns, e-shots, internal and external newsletters in the CRM
  • Extract and publish performance insights from CRM
  • Maintain communications and timely update on Oyster requirements amongst the roster of trusted partners 

Administrative assistance

  • Prompt archive of marketing assets
  • Website updates and support with social posts
  • Marketing suite supplies (Southampton)
  • Management of travel and logistics to support marketing activities
    Processing of PO’s, invoices and set-up of new vendors
  • Competitor analysis and marketing activity updates
  • Maintenance of live branded assets and guidelines 

The Person:

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Project management and excellent time management skills
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Hard-working, self-starter with a proactive attitude, creative flair and analytical mind
  • Strong organisational skills and keen to learn new skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong writing skills that will ensure the production of high quality, original content
  • A confident and articulate communicator with strong interpersonal skills capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organisation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and thrives on daily challenges
  • Knowledge and passion of the marine industry
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools; Social tools; Website Content Management Systems; Online analytics; Google Analytics etc.)
