If so, we are looking for a Management Accounting Assistant who will support the production of monthly management accounts.


The contract:


Full time – 40 hrs / week

The Management Accounting Assistant will be based at our site in Wroxham.


The Role: 

Main responsibilities:

Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts.

  • Checking and updating costs from project specifications (MWLs) to an expected cost model per yacht.
  • Investigating variances between expected costs and actual costs.
  • Verifying and validating committed costs.
  • Producing and further developing month-end reports

Producing ad-hoc production / finance reports

Collating timesheet information and producing overtime reports for payroll purposes

Creating sales invoices and monitoring payments

Help with staff expense claims

Provide occasional reception cover

To help with the efficient running of the accounts function by assisting with other duties as required.


The Person:


  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good communicator
  • High level MS Excel skills (Lookups, If Statements, Pivot Tables)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principals (Double Entry, Control Accounts)
  • Ability to work as a team across multiple sites
  • Can work to deadlines
  • Inquisitive with a desire to get things right


  • Already working towards an accounting qualification
  • Experience of Microsoft ERP Packages
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry
