We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, flexible individual to take on this challenging and exciting opportunity, responsible for supporting Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives across our Norfolk sites in an operational and administrative function.

Principle Job Responsibilities:

The position involves working closely with all departments to ensure statutory, mandatory and company training targets are met in relation to Health, Safety and Environment and that compliance is fully managed and reported on. The role has overall responsibility for maintaining and further developing the HSE training matrix.

Your key accountabilities will include providing a full Health, Safety and Environmental administrative service to the Wroxham and Ashmanhaugh sites; maintaining and monitoring key Health, Safety and Environmental Performance Indicators; monitoring and reporting accident and incident rates; contributing to the creation and implementation of new modified company procedures and processes; as well as carrying out Health and Safety and Environmental audits.

General Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

• NEBOSH general certificate, IOSH or other H&S industry recognised qualification (or be working towards it)

• Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001/45001 and current Health and Safety legislation

• Experience of working within HSE function within a manufacturing site

• Good administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a changing environment

• Ability to work on own initiative – with minimum supervision

• Excellent communicator, with strong written, oral and interpersonal skills

• Full UK driving licence
