WHAT WE SAY
The Holman and Pye designed Oyster 26 is the smallest yacht that Oyster built. Nonetheless she is a proper seagoing offshore yacht, built to the same high standard as her larger sisters.
A successful club racer, she is stiff and well-balanced in almost all conditions, while her ¾ rig minimises the need for headsail changes, making life easier on passage, and keeping her simple and easy to sail short-handed. Forty-seven Oyster 26s were launched between 1978 and 1981.
